These great Steam games won’t break the bank, so keep your wallet happy and your game library full.
On the Steam site, you can play more than 50,000 games, but not all of them are the same. There are just over 10,000 games that are marked as “multiplayer.” There are also a lot of different types of games and price ranges for those games.
Valheim – $20

It’s like Minecraft, but you play as a third-person character and the world is full of Vikings. Valheim is a beautiful adventure game that can be played by up to 10 people at the same time. What’s the plan? You can look around the big open world, get cool gear, and fight different bosses.
You can play it while talking to your friends on Discord. Take a break while building famous Viking homes and drinking halls. Have fun with your friends while you can, because someone will eventually work harder than everyone else to get gear that makes them too strong.Valheim is only $20 and can be played a lot of times. The file size is just over 1 GB, which makes it simple to download and play.
Depth – $20

Depth plays with the idea that most people are scared of the deep water. Just think of Jaws or any other movie with sharks.
You can play as a diver looking for lost wealth or as a shark killing every person that swims under the water. Divers can protect themselves with a wide range of underwater tools. To get an edge, the shark player can pick from a lot of different kinds of sharks. When you think about it, people are made a bit like nails. Get the hammerhead shark out of the water!
Ultimate Chicken Horse – $15

The goal of Ultimate Chicken Horse is to get to the end of the level by any means possible. The graphics are funny and simple.
There are several rounds, so each player has more than one chance to get from A to B. They get points every time they do it. The winner is the man who gets to 100 points first. It’s not that simple, though. Each map has things that can get in the way. Between rounds, each player can choose a challenge from a pool that is shared. Any obstacle that is put down affects everyone, even the person who put it down! By accident, every player can make the game hell for their friends or themselves.
Speedrunners – $15

Like games with platforms? Strange clothes? How about a race with your friends? In Speedrunners, all of these ideas come together to make a fun race game where players move around a course with grappling hooks.
The edges of the screen get smaller as the race goes on and players are removed. Any person who touches the lines dies! The games are fast and crazy. As the gamer runs around the course, they can pick up guns and shoot them at their opponents, making them trip and fall.
Screencheat – $15

People used to cheat when they played Halo with friends in split-screen mode back in the day. When one player looks at the screen of another player to find out where that player is or get other information. People thought it was “cheap” because they couldn’t do that if they were all playing online together.
Yes, that is the case in Screencheat. No one can be seen in the game. Looking at their part of the screen is the only way to tell where the players are. Having such a silly time is made even worse by the unrealistic tools you can use. You can either throw a toy animal full of bombs or plasma balls from a car engine. No matter what tool a player picks, they’ll have to cheat to use it!
Friends Vs Friends – $15

Fans of stylish first-person shooters will enjoy Friends vs. Friends. People can play alone or with another person in a 2v2 battle. There are rounds, and the winner is the person who gets the most rounds. But each person is given a hand of cards before each round.
In some way, each card changes the round. Your gun could go from a pistol to an AK-47 or something much better with this card. The card could either speed up the player or make the head of the other player bigger, which makes it easy to hit them in the head. After each person picks a card, they can attack each other.
Left 4 Dead – $10

This game, Left 4 Dead, came out way back in 2008, but it still works well today. Its original weapons, special infected monsters, level design, and different levels of difficulty keep it interesting and hard for all kinds of players.
For those who get tired of the normal co-op game, there is also a “vs.” mode that they can play. This means that players can now handle the zombies in the game and try to kill the humans who are still alive. The people who are still alive need to work together to get out alive. But don’t worry if someone dies along the way. They will come back to life in any closet.
Lunch Lady – $5

A bunch of kids have broken into their high school in Lunch Lady to try to steal test answers for the following week. You have to find 10 pages of answers that are spread out all over the high school. It’s pretty simple, right? No, not really. It’s dark outside, and it’s nighttime. Players must use their flashlights to find their way around.
Also, there’s a crazy lunch lady who wants to kill everyone she finds. The game Lunch Lady is fun, but it’s also scary. As the game gets closer to its end goal, the lunch lady speeds up and becomes more dangerous. She will respond to any sounds or words a person says or does while moving. People who play the game need to be careful about when and how long they talk because the sound is localized. Because if one person can hear them, then the lunch lady can too. You will laugh, scream, and run!
Among Us – $5

Many people became fans of Among Us a few years ago, but new changes have made it even better to play now than ever before.
For those who don’t know, Drift Boss is a game about lies and tricking people. Eight people are thrown onto a map at the same time. Six of them are crewmates, and the other two are fakes (cue popular among us noise). Before the impostors kill them all, the crew members have to run around the map and finish their own jobs. There have been several updates to the game since it first became very famous. Many more ways to change things have been added, and there are now two main ways to play the game. There are also now microtransactions, which let players support the game and get cool ways to customize it at the same time.
Deceit – $0

If you play Deceit, you wake up in a strange place to the voice of a game master, just like a victim in the Saw movies. Some players have a virus because of the game master, and they have to kill the “innocent” players in the room. The good guys have to figure out how to get away and decide which items and people they can trust to help them.
Also, Deceit is free to play, which is a big plus. Playing it with friends is fun. And like Among Us, Deceit is a game about lying and trust. It’s impossible for players to tell who is on their side and who is a sick stranger out to kill them!
