The fighting in these games is the most accurate and brutal I’ve seen.
Deep down. Very sharp. Bone-snappingly horrific are all things that gamers might expect to find in a new shooting or fighting game that promises realistic violence and heart-stopping action. However, players don’t often really feel the punch, kick, or bullet wound that producers work so hard to make.
It’s pretty gross to actually feel gunshot wounds, cracked ribs, and punctured organs, and it’s also annoying for gamers when it happens to their character, so most game developers have to find a way to balance brutal fighting with something a little more “user-friendly.” There are, however, some games that break this rule and others that bend it in order to show intense and scary violence.
